From an early age, I discovered I had a unique gift

The ability to connect with horses and later with people on a profound level, sensing their energy and understanding their needs. It was as if I could peer into their minds and hearts, but it wasn’t until I matured that I fully grasped the power and purpose of this ability.

Horses have been foundational in my own youth, teaching me about silent communication and the power of presence. Their intuitive response to human emotions has been instrumental in developing my philosophy and methods, particularly in my Horsepower Training, where I assist leaders in harnessing these insights to enhance their emotional fitness and intuitive decision-making.

At 19, I began my entrepreneurial journey in high-pressure environments, particularly in media, music and sports. Managing diverse personalities and guiding significant projects, I witnessed firsthand the harmful effects of an unsafe work environment on both body, mind and soul. I saw many leaders struggle to maintain balance, underscoring the need for leadership that goes beyond management to lead with empathy, integrity, and strategic insight.



This realization inspired the development of the Victory Intelligence Connectivity (V.I.C.) philosophy, which merges the heart’s intuition with the mind’s logic and embraces both feminine and masculine energies in leadership. My approach integrates empathy, creativity and intuition with rigorous strategic thinking and action, establishing the balance necessary for today’s leaders to thrive.

Moreover, my work with the Triple V Governance approach, focusing on Veracity, Vigilance and Vitality aims to transform organizational cultures to foster trust, safety, and resilience.

How my tribe story began

In 2018, I met Joost van de Mortel at a top sports event. As the head of the intensive care unit at Jeroen Bosch Hospital, Joost and I shared a passion for transforming high-pressure sectors into safe environments. Intrigued by the hospital’s exceptional policies, I explored what set it apart from others in the Benelux, identifying the golden ingredients of its success: a unique blend of policy and leadership working in harmony.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I connected with Bart Timmermans, then leading the ICU at UMC Utrecht Hospital. Motivated by his commitment to boost his staff’s morale, we engaged in deep discussions about enhancing efficiency and fostering emotional resilience within his ICU. These discussions led to a collaboration with Joost and Bart to implement our ‘golden policy’ at UMC Utrecht Hospital, transforming a culture of fear into one of accountability and achieving remarkable outcomes. This methodology is now being adopted at Spaarne Gasthuis Hospital, where Bart recently assumed leadership of the operating rooms, further extending the reach of our Triple V Governance approach. The TVG method is currently being validated as an evidence-based approach under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lotty Hooft. Moreover, my work with the Triple V Governance approach, focusing on Victory, Vigilance, and Vitality, aims to transform organizational cultures to foster trust, safety, and resilience

Over the last few years, I have built my own tribe with amazing people around me, each possessing a unique gift and understanding the importance of our mission. In a world where the prevailing leadership trend is toughness, devoid of emotion, and marked by a ‘badass’ attitude for success, we stand in contrast. We are on fire, determined to change the narrative and create a future where leaders are not just tough but also wise, empathetic, and genuinely effective. We are here not just to create leaders but to cultivate legends.
